When I was a kid it seemed like every time the church doors were open we were there. I knew the “tradition” of going to church because it was the right thing to do, but I didn’t quite understand the importance or urgency of giving my life to Christ. In 7th grade that all changed when I felt God speak to me at a worship service in Ft. Worth, Texas. That morning I gave my life to Christ and was baptized that same evening. A few years later during my Junior year of high school I surrendered my life to the call of Christian Ministry, specifically in the area of music. I graduated in 2001 with a Church Music Degree from Ouachita Baptist University in Arkadelphia, Arkansas. While at Ouachita I fell in love with two things: the guitar, and the very best thing in my life, my wife. Me being a vocal major that played guitar and her being a piano major that could sing we were destined to be a team in ministry. We married in 2002 and have served for over 15 years in churches throughout Texas, Illinois, and Arkansas in student, collegiate, and worship ministries. We have been blessed with 4 amazing children – Lucy, Gabriel, Annie, and Evangeline. Aside from spending time with my family, I enjoy having game nights with friends, cheering for the Texas Rangers, and watching the latest Marvel super-hero movies. Above all other things, my passion and desire is to lead people to praise God for who He is, for what He has done, and what He is going to do in our lives. God led our family to Park Springs in the Fall of 2015, and I have the privilege to lead such an awesome worship team as we lead the worship experience in our church each week.
