I was born in Irving, Texas, and have been in North Texas my whole life. Growing up, I was blessed with a large, loving family. God brought me to Park Springs in 2019 serving as an interim worship leader, not planning to stay. The Holy Spirit began a work in me and slowly but surely taught me that this church is my home, and he’s given me a heart for it. I am now blessed to serve as a music ministry associate.
I currently reside in Burleson, Texas, where I live on a farm and work a family business, The Chicken Bawks. I enjoy working with my hands. In my free time I enjoy woodworking, animal care, cooking, baking, playing video games, shooting guns, fixing phones and computers, and playing music.
My favorite verse comes from the book of Micah, chapter 7. It reads, “Rejoice not over me, O my enemy; when I fall, I shall rise; when I sit in darkness, the Lord will be a light to me. I will bear the indignation of the Lord because I have sinned against him, until he pleads my cause and executes judgment for me. He will bring me out to the light; I shall look upon his vindication. Then my enemy will see, and shame will cover her who said to me, “Where is the Lord your God?” My eyes will look upon her; now she will be trampled down like the mire of the streets.”
I find it to be a powerful reminder of the sovereignty and righteousness of our God, who rules over all authority, and it brings me peace knowing that the God I serve is the same God who executed judgment in the Old Testament, and He is the same God who loved us so much that He sent His son to die for us. It’s such a beautiful picture, and this verse reminds me of that.
I feel so blessed to call Park Springs my church, and I’m excited to be a part of what God is going to do here!
